Job Description The Sr.
Events & Marketing Specialist - DFH Hospitality is the champion of bringing to life guest-facing events at the DFH Hospitality locations in Delaware (Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats, Chesapeake & Maine, Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen, and Dogfish INN).
The role reports to the Sr.
Marketing & Events Manager and is accountable for strategizing and executing events - leading the charge on our tier 1 annual festivals that include 5 events scaling up to 2500 attendees per event! Including executing programming that will win the hearts and minds of our drinkers and coworkers, with an overall goal of supporting our national brand and driving guest visits to our locations.
This role will do so with direct support from hospitality managers at the DE locations and the hospitality marketing team as needed.
What You'll Brew:
Leader of the annual calendar of events for DFH DE locations including festivals, beer dinners, INN weekends, tasting events, Off-Centered Society activations, programming etc.
, and working cross functionally to bring these events to life through promotion and execution Owner of event development through cross-functional collaboration and brainstorming with DFH hospitality & marketing teams Coordinate event & programming logistics with local, on-site hospitality teams and ensure events are executed in a way that provides unique guest experiences that are on-brand Leading coworker teams during events to ensure successful execution as the main point person Manage annual event budgets including expense projections and invoices Communication with outside vendors and partners for event details, logistics and payment Act as the point-person for all DFH hospitality events with coworker & guest-facing audiences Responsible for working with marketing & design teams to develop materials to support events Coordinate with Sr.
Marketing & Events Specialist on promotion plans for all events Develop new event concepts that will engage our drinkers and drive revenue, brand awareness and growth Provide event recaps to analyze event performance while making recommendations for future events Representing DFH at local sales and community events & meetings as needed Assisting with Beer & Benevolence execution as needed Participate in Annual Business Plan development with the hospitality marketing and hospitality leadership teams Ensure our hospitality property spaces are aesthetically representing our national brand through signage, POS and decor as needed, and creatively bringing design to our locations Collaborating and supporting the hospitality marketing team as needed with the overall goal of driving guest traffic What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Qualifications:

years of event experience (experience with multifaceted events with 1000
attendees preferred) Experience in leading teams Strong project management knowledge & experience Skilled at multitasking and working on various projects at the same time Ability to use experience to make solid judgment calls Proven interpersonal and communication skills with an innate attention to detail Highly organized, flexible, self-motivated, and able to succeed in a dynamic fast-paced environment Experienced negotiator with proven experience of finding creative solutions to problems Ability to work independently or cross functionally through team collaboration Our Perks:
